The Ohio Orthopaedic Society represents Orthopaedic Surgeons and their patients at the Ohio General Assembly and Regulatory Agencies by:

• The Ohio Orthopaedic Society is the only organization in Ohio that works every day on your behalf in the Ohio Legislature and Regulatory Agencies to protect the integrity of the profession with offices 1/2 block from the Ohio Statehouse.

• Advocate for strict interpretation of statues by supreme court justices

• Fighting for fair reimbursement for orthopaedic care provided to workers compensation patients

• Advocating for reasonable rules to combat opioid and pain medication misuse and addiction

• Maintaining safe scope of practice limits for allied practitioners

• Protecting Medicaid reimbursement rates and maintaining access to services

• Supporting Ohio political candidates through ORTHO-PAC
